I have tried to organize things so that I can continue working this summer..... and this week went well..... so I'm crossing my fingers that the next 10 weeks will go as smoothly.
Here is what I made this week:
A new style of Necklace that I call 'Babylon' after the hanging gardens.... (more about that in another post.) One is Dendritic Agate and the other Kingman Mine Turquoise.
The chain is a little shorter that usual to compensate for the extra length in the pendant. The pendant is articulated too, so that it swings and moves and flows.
Each one has the same idea, but no two are alike.
Two custom orders.........
One in Turquoise.......
and one in watermelon tourmaline.
Blueberry Pie ring........
With a large raw Dark purple Amethyst.....
and a little pair of flower earrings with luxurious 18 carat gold centres..........
light and airy and perfect for summer...........................
Life is continuing on the homefront too. The hens are laying... the vegetables are growing. The animals are getting along. The children are fighting one minute and best friends the next....... nothing changes..........Except........ this plant:
I have had it for nearly 6 years. It has sat in the window of our living room all that time, and now........... after six years........... it decides to flowers for the first time EVER!
No flowers for 6 years and then two come along together! Amazing. Does anyone know what kind of a plant this is?... I'd love to learn how to take care of it properly, but can't do that without a name...........
Thank you so much..............

Jo.... it's really hard isn't it?
Thanks Esther Eve... Once the idea came all sorts of variations struck me so it's only the beginning... do you really think it's a unique idea?
Love the blueberry pie ring!
LOVE the babylon pendants!! x
Well as ever I love your new designs, they are always so fresh. I hope you find time to enjoy the summer and have some time for yourself. Your plant is a Bromeliad and your particular one is an Aechmea fasciata or Urn plant. They take a few years before they flower in mid summer but flowers should last through to autumn. How could it not flower for you!! :)
Like the hanging gardens in your creations and the custom made rings are also beautiful with the intense color of the stone in the center. You style is amazing.the gardens are still inspiring you a lot which is great.Charm Bracelets
